Allison Tomlinson
Dr. Allison Tomlinson is the Director of Undergraduate Programs and an Assistant Professor of Practice at The University of Texas at Arlington in the School of Social Work, she is the owner of a private psychotherapy practice. She is a clinician with over 13 years of experience specializing in trauma, child welfare, marriage and families as special concentrations. Dr. Tomlinson is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University Marriage and Family Therapy doctoral program where she was a Dissertation and Doctoral Fellow with the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration/ American Assoc. of Marriage and Family Therapy Minority Fellowship Program. Dr. Tomlinson is a graduate of Howard University School of Social Work. She lives by the words, “for from everyone to whom much is given, much shall be required…” and attempts to live this out in her service to others. She is a wife and mother of two UME scholars.
