kenyaKenya Brooks is a seasoned accountant with extensive experience in financial management and team leadership. A proud mother to Kendall Brooks, a junior at UME, Kenya and her family have been a dedicated part of the UME community since January 2020.Kenya brings over three decades of professional and community experience to her role. She is a servant leader who is deeply committed to supporting educators and fostering environments where students can thrive. Her leadership style focuses on collaboration, accountability, and a strong belief in the power of education to transform lives.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kenya has lived in the Dallas area for over 30 years. She is a graduate of Southern University and currently serves as a partner at Saville CPAs and Advisors in Dallas, TX. She is known for exceeding expectations and leading with integrity.
 
Since 2022, Kenya has been an active member of UME’s PAC (Parents Achieving Community), advocating for student success, staff support and family engagement. Her passion for the UME model and its mission drives her desire to serve on the school board, where she hopes to continue making a meaningful impact. Kenya is also engaged in her local and professional communities. She is an active member of CREW Dallas and the National Hook-Up of Black Women (NHBW), regularly volunteers in community outreach efforts, and attends Church 360 in Grand Prairie with her family. In her downtime, she enjoys reading.
