Stacey Witherspoon - Mansfield Campus Principal
Degrees and CertificationsStacey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Howard Payne University, as well as a Master of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a Principal as Instructional Leader Grades EC – 12 and a lifetime teaching certificate from the state of Texas. Stacey is GT (Gifted & Talented) certified and holds her ESL certification endorsement.
Educational Experience
Stacey has been in education for 31 years. She has taught various grade levels including 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. She was a Grade Level Team Leader and a member of the Leadership Academy in Arlington ISD. She was a technology trainer and assisted in writing technology curriculum for summer learning for several years. Stacey has led teacher staff developments, served on leadership committees and developed curriculum in AISD. She was an Instructional Coach for the past 3 years where she coached teachers, coordinated Response to Intervention, secured and placed intervention staff tutors, and facilitated Professional Learning Communities (PLC) both aligned vertically, by subject and grade level for all faculty members. During her 31 years of teaching she spent time homeschooling her 4 children. Her passion is leading teachers to be the best as they teach children to love learning!
