Kayla Smith - Superintendent

Kayla received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Howard Payne University and a master of education degree from the University of North Texas. Kayla holds a standard administrator certificate through ACSI and a lifetime teaching certificate through the state of Texas. She also holds Texas all-level reading, English, and kindergarten certificates.

 

Kayla has many years of experience leading schools. She served as Head of School for Hillcrest Christian Academy and principal for Pantego Christian Academy. She also has many years of teaching experience across the grade levels. She has taught for Pantego Christian Academy, Tarrant County Community Colleges, Dallas County Community Colleges, Coppell ISD, Dallas ISD, and Zephyr ISD. Kayla has been deeply involved in school development, curriculum development, and teacher training throughout her career. She has been recognized in Who’s Who of America’s Teachers and awarded administrator of the year by Score-A-Goal in Education.
