Always striving for excellence, the UME Preparatory Academy Robotics program has undergone restructuring for the 2019/2020 season.
All students grades 4 through 12 interested in being part of a robotics team must apply, including those who have been on teams in the past.
The UME Robotics Season Kickoff and Parents meeting for all campuses is August 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Dallas Campus Auditorium. Season information will be presented and team member applications made available at that time.
There are also a number of volunteer coach positions open if you are interested.
UME participates in the For the Inspirations and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST®) robotics program (https://www.firstinspires.org/) offering FIRST® LEGO League (FLL®) at both Dallas and Duncanville campuses and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC®) at the Dallas campus.
